Waterlily Pond, Edinburgh Palmhouse, Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh, Scotland. April 2013.

A waterlily pond in one of the glasshouses in the Royal Botanic Gardens. The leaves are only partly grown, eventually they will be huge. The Gardens are 70 acres (28 hectares) in size and are a short distance from the centre of Edinburgh. They contain a wide range of plants, palmhouses and visitor facilities. Also they are a pleasant refuge from the bustle of the city.
